HOUSTON, Texas–(BUSINESS WIRE)–VXL Instruments announces the launch of two new virtualization-ready laptop thin clients in conjunction with major laptop manufacturer Lenovo. The high performance, VXL-Lenovo Thin ThinkPad, 14.1”, TL412 comes with a market-leading three year warranty as standard, while the entry level 11.6” TL100 features a one year warranty that’s upgradeable to three years.

Competitively priced in line with VXL’s commitment to offer the best value in thin client, the new laptops are both available now.

The 14.1” widescreen TL412 boasts 1 GB RAM and 1GB Flash as standard, Express PC Card Expansion slot and 1.86Ghz Intel Celeron Dual Core processor. The equally impressive 11.6” widescreen, TL100, also incorporates 1 GB RAM and 1GB Flash, plus 4 in 1 PC Card slot and 1.0 GHz AMD Athlon Neo processor.

Additionally the models are available with a choice of Microsoft Windows XPe and Windows Embedded (WES) operating systems, with Linux available in the next quarter, and they also include VXL’s latest remote management software, XLmanage Workgroup Edition, as standard.
